TechBUZZ April 2013 Blog Post - Wrap Up

In recent years, the Mid-Atlantic region has emerged as the birthplace of some of the hottest ideas, game-changing innovations and cutting-edge technologies in the United States.

TechBUZZ was launched in May 2011 as a half-day conference preceding Capital Connection. This high-energy, fast-paced Seed Stage format was developed in response to the increasing strength of the start-up and seed-stage companiy formation within the investment ecosystem. MAVA is dedicated to celebrating this vital area of our membership by bringing together investors and entrepreneurs in a dynamic and meaningful format.  Now a stand-alone event seperate from Capitol Connection, In 2014, MAVA will host three TechBUZZ events to shine the spotlight on the best & brightest startups throughout the year: April, June and September

TechBUZZ shines a well-deserved light on visionary innovators and company-builders in our region who actively develop their concepts, test beta products and services and pursue a path toward market entry. Past presenting companies, including TroopID, Cont3nt.com and the Trip Tribe, have significantly raised their profiles in the startup community since presenting on the TechBUZZ stage, a truly indispensable reward.
