Derrick Cobey, CTO, Harmony Information Systems

Derrick Cobey joined Harmony in 2007, and he is currently responsible for research and development, technical operations, and professional services.  Cobey brings 15 years of technology experience to Harmony, including significant software as a service expertise.

Prior to his time at Harmony, Cobey served as chief technology officer of Peopleclick, a leading provider of human resource management solutions. Cobey also served as vice president of product development for Vastera, which was acquired by JPMorganChase. 

Derrick holds an M.S. in computer science from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland.

David Quattrone, Co-Founder and CTO, Cvent

David Quattrone has been with Cvent since the company's founding, bringing a wealth of expertise in designing and developing large-scale Internet applications. David designed and supervised the development of Cvent's original beta product as well as all of Cvent's subsequent product releases, upgrades and redesigns.

Prior to co-founding Cvent, David worked at First Consulting Group, a leading provider of information-based consulting, integration, and management services. There, David specialized in large-scale custom Internet/Intranet application design and development. 

David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology program, earning a BS in Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, with concentrations in Strategic Management and Finance. David received his MBA from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business (summa cum laude).

Rob Kodey, Vice President, Product & Technology, buySafe

Rob is a technology professional with more than 18 years of experience spanning software engineering, research and development, product development and design, quality assurance, and IT operations. He has a highly successful track record in developing and implementing technology solutions at emerging companies. At buySAFE, he leads the technology and product management for all buySAFE services and oversees the company’s strategic technology initiatives.

Prior to joining buySAFE, Rob was vice president, technology, at Arlington, Va.-based Cyveillance, Inc. While there, he managed the technology & operations team and focused on the rapid growth and evolution of the product portfolio, while maintaining its stability and scalability. Rob has held senior technology positions with two other emerging technology companies, Opion, Inc. and GivingCapital, Inc.  Rob began his career at UBS PaineWebber, where he was responsible for the design and development of the company’s online trading and services platform.

Shaun Poulton, CTO, Regent Education

As Chief Technology Officer for Regent Education, Shaun leads the Product Development organization, including the strategic design and deployment of the company's enterprise applications. He is responsible for the technical architecture and direction for the Regent Enterprise product suite. He brings a broad range of technology experience with a proven track record of leading large cross-functional software development teams with focus on both strategic and tactical delivery plans and process improvement. Shaun has particular expertise in large-scale business application development, database design, reporting and business intelligence solutions, enterprise portals and system usability.

Shaun holds a B.S in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland.
